HOW DOES IT WORK? 

It’s simple. Guests use their own smartphones to take a photo. They make them look beautiful using the genius of filters, and then upload them to Instagram or Twitter using a unique event hashtag. Our Hashtag Printer will automatically detect and print out their photo, right there on the spot! No Instagram - No problem - Text a special number to print the image which includes your branding.

FAQ

HOW DOES THE HASHTAG PRINTER GET INSTALLED?

Your Hashtag Printer Operator arrives on-site 1 hour in advance to set everything up, and they'll remain on-site throughout the event to make sure everything runs smoothly, engage with guests, and encourage people to take photos. 

WHAT ARE THE SET UP REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HASHTAG PRINTER?

We require access to a power outlet and 1x2m floor space (a little more if you're having a guest book). 

DOES THE HASHTAG PRINTER NEED THE INTERNET TO WORK?

Yes. We will provide our own 4G wifi modem however if your venue has wifi available please send us the details in case we come across any unexpected coverage issues throughout the event. 

WILL THE HASHTAG PRINTER WORK IF MY INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT IS SET TO PRIVATE? 

No. User accounts need to be set to Public in order to work.

WHAT IF OUR GUESTS DON'T HAVE AN INSTAGRAM OR TWITTER ACCOUNT?

No problem! We have a phone number that they can text to print. Your friendly Hashtag attendant will also gladly take a snap using our own ipad and upload it to our Instagram account. 

WILL THE PRINTER WORK IF WE UPLOAD PHOTOS ON FACEBOOK? 

No. Our software is only compatible with Instagram and Twitter, but we can upload all of the photos to your Facebook page.

CAN THE HASHTAG PRINTER ITSELF BE BRANDED? 

It sure can! We can vinyl wrap the Hashtag Printer with your branding. We can also create a branded instruction sign and branded photo display board. 

CAN WE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS FROM THE EVENT?

All the hashtagged photos will be automatically saved during the event. We can Dropbox them or upload them to a USB to deliver to you in the next few days. 

WHO DECIDES WHAT OUR UNIQUE EVENT HASHTAG IS?  

You do. Your event hashtag can be anything you like. It's best to choose a hashtag that is short and easy to remember keeping in mind you want it to be unique so you don't get a bunch of photos from other Instagram users across the globe :) If you're not sure what to use we'd be happy to help you decide.

WHAT SIZE WILL THE IMAGES BE PRINTED?

Prints will be 6x4" (standard photo size) 

CAN WE CUSTOMISE THE DESIGN & THE LAYOUT OF THE PRINTS?

Absolutely! The prints can be completely customised with your own unique design and branding.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF PRINTS WE CAN DO? 

For every hashtag upload one 6x4 print will be printed. There is no limit on the amount hashtag uploads. F

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE PHOTOS TO PRINT? 

Our printer is super fast! It takes 8 seconds to print one 6x4" print.
